Ellen Bernstein, President of Albuquerque Teachers Federation, and her colleagues hosted the June 4-6, 2009 TURN meeting, which was held at the Tamaya Resort in Bernalillo, New Mexico!  Over one hundred participants from sixteen states, including California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, and New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington and the District of Columbia, were in attendance.

The meeting marked another step in bridging the gap between theory and practice with regard to sustainable, innovative school models.
